Global Neighbours is proud to announce that our CEO Sid Chatterjee has been appointed Distinguished Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University, one of the world’s leading institutions for public policy and governance. The official ceremony took place at the School of Public Policy and Management in Beijing.

In his remarks, Professor Chatterjee highlighted the mission and vision of Global Neighbours as a neutral platform dedicated to fostering dialogue between Europe, Asia and beyond. He also presented the organisation’s flagship initiative, Tracks to the Future, an ambitious and forward looking concept of a think train connecting Europe and China through Central Asia. This initiative is designed to bring together scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and young leaders in a shared journey that transcends geographical, intellectual, and cultural boundaries.

The appointment recognises Professor Chatterjee’s longstanding commitment to advancing cross regional dialogue and strengthening cooperation across disciplines. It also provides an important platform to further amplify the work of Global Neighbours on one of the most influential academic stages globally.
