At Global Neighbours, Joseph leads the Fellowship Programme and Publications, connecting international experts and institutions through dialogue initiatives and contributing to the organisation’s publications on international developments across Europe, Asia, and beyond.

Joseph Kirchberger holds an MA in Public Policy with Merit from Central European University and a BA in International Relations from Webster Vienna Private University. Prior to joining Global Neighbours, he worked at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, and GLOBSEC, gaining experience in multilateral cooperation, diplomacy, and the work of international think tanks.
His work includes the coordination of expert dialogue formats, analytical publications, media activities, and events involving political institutions, international organisations, academia, and business stakeholders. He is also involved in the development of institutional partnerships and the expansion of Global Neighbours’ international network across Europe, Asia, and beyond.
